Current Education Schedule

New Public Servants must participate in an ethics and lobbying presentation within six (6) months of their initial election, reelection, appointment, or employment. Those Public Servants holding positions on January 1, 2007, had until January 1, 2008, to satisfy this education requirement. Those public servants who have not satisfied their 2007 education requirement must make arrangements to do so immediately.

The State Ethics Commission is currently scheduling regional training sessions which will be available at various locations across the State via the Information Highway. These programs will be presented in Raleigh and broadcast to the remote locations listed below. Also, the Commission has scheduled several live training sessions in Raleigh.
